We developed an industry leading pay-as-you-go (‘PAYG’) insurance product that is the first of its kind in most markets. A large part of our business is driven by partnerships but we are rapidly expanding our BIMA-branded portfolio, in which we sell products directly to consumers.
Milvik Tanzania Ltd are looking for Sales/Call Agents who are energetic, motivated and excited to help grow a small business further. Their main role will be to call potential customers to first educate, and then to sell Tigo BIMA insurance products. Key to this is both the volume of calls made, and a polite and consistent sales approach that will be supported through training and on the job coaching. Excellent English is preferred and as agents sell more, they will receive greater compensation andbenefits.
Daily duties of Sales/Call Agents:
• Arrive on time and observe good time management
• Call and sell our product to Tigo customers daily
• Meet daily and weekly sales targets
• Flag performance + productivity challenges to team captain
• Note call response and call back if requested
• Attend training and quizzes when required to improve performance.
As such the person filling this position needs to have:
• Certificate/Diploma holder or equivalent (O-Level/A-level Certificate Holders)
• Good communication skills both written and spoken
• Computer literate
• Should be proactive
• Should be respectful and gain respect from others
• Should be self motivated and well disciplined
