Mobile Manager - VDEBU01
Role Purpose
Provide commercial support to the SME Segment and ensure alignment with Vodacom EBU strategy.

Use Customer intelligence, market sizing and revenue data to identify revenue growth opportunities

Analyze channel, segment and product performance to improve efficiency and increase ARPU

Perform all financial administration, cost management and efficiency analysis to remain profitable

Essence of Role – Key Accountabilities

  • Segment Revenue and Profitability Analysis:
  • Analyze monthly & Y-o-Y revenue growth to understand the key drivers of SME revenue and margins
  •  Insight and recommendation into improving revenue performance
  • Understand Product usage and tariff mix including Product Performance against projected revenues
  • Generate a management report detailing analysis, findings and recommendations
  • Customer Base Analysis and Maintenance
  • Insight into customer segments and customer base management
  • Guide approach to customer value management and prioritization
  • Indentify growth opportunities
  • Identify risks in key accounts
  • Customer Intelligence
  • Source and analyze information about customer behavior and needs
  • Understand the price points and purchasing patterns in the SME segment
  • Understand the products and usage patterns of customers
  • Insights into various industry segments and macro-economic trends to guide sales strategy
  • Generate a management report on Customer Intelligence detailing analysis, findings and recommendations
  • Market Sizing, and Market Share
  • Understand the  Segment market and product penetration across all regions
  • Generate a region specific market share report
  • Indentify areas of weak market share and recommend tactics
  • Generate a market share and gap analysis for the segment
  • Generate a Market Share management report detailing analysis, findings and recommendations
  • Channel/Segment Performance Analysis
  • Indentify under-performing channels across all the regions and make improvement recommendations
  • Analyze the margin for the segment to assess profitability
  • Deal sheet screening during the approval process
  • Segment Cost Management
  • Benchmark the segment cost and performance efficiencies.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum business degree, MBA advantage with relevant sales, customer care experience or its equivalent 4– 6 leadership experience; inclusive of management in the ICT Industry (essential)
  • Indirect /Direct sales experience (clear advantage
  • Leadership/Management/Supervisory experience
