Job Opportunity at Pergamon Group Ltd, Sales & Administrative Assistant

Position: Sales & Administrative Assistant
Supervisor: Operations Manager

Main Duties and Responsibilities include:
1. Attending to walk- in customers satisfactorily by ensuring that they are served in a timely and courteous manner as well as directing all visitors to various departments.

2. Receiving and directing telephone and other forms of communication in a professional manner

3. Responsible for ensuring that the company’s image is upheld in the showroom through professionalism and proper presentation of the company’s product

4. Follow-up on all enquiries made at the show room to convert them to actual sales

5. Follow-up on products sold to customers to ensure that the customers are satisfied by the products and also avail feedback received from such follow-ups

6. Responsible for marketing of the company’s products through cold calling, prospecting, negotiation and closing sales

7. Organizing products in the showroom ensuring that the showroom remains neat at all times and that products are visible to the customers

8. Receiving machines/equipment sold only by Pergamon for repair and issuing of job cards to clients on the same, then hand over the machines/equipment to the technical personnel

9. Contacting the customers when their machines are ready for collection

10. Ensuring that all service and maintenance charges are collected before releasing the machines/equipment to the customers

11. Cashiering duties ensuring that all transactions are entered correctly and that the day’s sales are reconciled at the end of each business day

12. Writing of correspondence as may be required from time to time

13. Taking down and sending to relevant parties of minutes of company meetings

14. Any other duty assigned by the management from time to time

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relation or other related field of study from recognized institution.
  • Excellent communication and administrative skills
  • Proven customer service and time management skills
  • Influencing/negotiation-interpersonal skills
  • The person should have two (2) years of Sales experience.
